Developed by popular request from our tourists, the Gastronomic Tour “Delicious Kyiv” combines everything a traveller could want: a walk through the historic district, shopping for authentic souvenirs, and a taste of the finest Ukrainian cuisine. 1. Walk through the historic district
Stroll through the heart of old Kyiv — Independence Square, Khreshchatyk Street, Horodetsky Street and the monument to Panyikovsky — with a professional guide bringing every corner to life.
2. Buying souvenirs
What is the most popular souvenir from Kyiv? The legendary Kyiv cake — and the true Ukrainian delicacy, salo! We will visit the famous Bessarabsky Market, where you can taste home-made sausages and a dozen varieties of salo even if you don’t buy a thing. Then on to the Roshen flagship store on Khreshchatyk — fabulous window displays, an enormous selection of sweets, and irresistible aromas.
3. Tasting Ukrainian national cuisine
Ukrainian borsch with pampushkas and bacon · varenyky with a dozen kinds of fillings · home-made sausages with pickled vegetables · legendary Chicken Kyiv · potato pancakes (deruny). For dessert: pancakes with sweet cheese and varenyky with cherries.
